What we do

Building our Community

With over 400 residents now and growing our goal is help build and maintain a sense of community for everyone.

We do this through organising social events to bring the community closer together.

Supporting Residents

We are committed to improving conditions for all residents, working in partnership with CALA during the development programme and with our local authorities and housing  associations.

This allows us to advocate in the local community and work directly with the people we serve.

Representing your views

KBRA represents and promotes the interests of residents living in our area.

Thank you to everyone who supported our events across 2024

We will publish news of our 2025 events here soon!

Christmas Lights Competition - December 2024

Kings Barton has already put itself on the map for Halloween, so we were delighted to see that residents were just as enthusiastic with their Christmas lights. Thank you to all the residents who made the neighbourhood look so festive, and to those who joined our friendly lights competition. Congratulations to our winners - Cllr De Stefano (1st) and Sherrie Shane Oakes (2nd) who won vouchers to a local bakery.

Kings Barton Litter Pick - October 2024

Every spring and autumn, Kings Barton Residents Association (KBRA) organise a litter pick across the estate. Last October, 46 residents braved the rain to tidy up the estate - our best turnout yet! As CALA build out the estate, we need more volunteers to ensure that we can cover the whole area. We will be out again in the Spring and we would love to beat our record. Please keep an eye on the Facebook page "Kings Barton Neighbours," or join our mailing list, for the spring date (email kingsbartonra@gmail.com to go on our distribution list)

Thank you Kings Barton Residents!

Kings Barton Summer Fete will hope to be back in 2025!

THANK YOU KINGS BARTON RESIDENTS!

Just before Christmas we organised a collection for our local food bank, the Winchester Basics Bank.  This is to say a huge thank you for your donations which were gratefully received.  Here is their message to you all.

"Thank you very much for the Christmas donation from the KBRA to Winchester Basics Bank. It was a very generous and timely delivery especially in the times that we are all living through. Please pass our sincere thanks to the committee and residents of Kings Barton. Best wishes for the New Year"
